Amber Benson is a talented American actor who has performed as a writer, singer, director and producer. She is best known for her character Tara Maclay on the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer and has also directed produced and performed in her own movies Chance as well as Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she starred as the bride in the Kiss the Bride movie. Benson is the daughter, born on the 8th of January 1977, of Edward Benson and Diane Benson. Her younger sister is Danielle Benson, who works as an artist. The father of her is Jewish and her mother was raised Southern Baptist Benson grew up attending an Reform synagogue located in Alabama. Since Buffy came to an end, Benson has appeared in movies such as The Killing Jar and on shows such as Morganville The Series. On camera, she used her writing talents to create her character Ghosts of Albion and direct projects such as the 2010's Drones.
