Lori Greiner

Lori Greiner was born Lori Husman. She is an American journalist and television host who serves as a Shark in the ABC reality-based business show Shark Tank. She was interested in custom jewelry while in college. She continued to design and sell them after she had the concept of making a plastic earrings organizer and then showing it to females on the streets to observe their reactions. The product was patent-protected before launching the product online and offline. Her business continued to expand with new items. In the past, she's created and marketed over 1,000 products that have been successful. She also holds over 120 US and International Patents. In addition to having sharp intuition and strong judgment, she's able tell instantly if a product is "hero or not" that has resulted in 90 per cent success with her venture. A strong believer of "if you're fortunate enough to succeed then you are bound to do something for others" She also gives an annual donation to a range of charitable organizations.
